The Ludham Illuminated Boat Parade is a FREE event organised by the FRIENDS OF ST CATHERINES CHURCH LUDHAM

Disabled Parking

Ludham Staithe NR29 5QG. If possible, we would you prefer you to drop off and park in the main car park as Disabled Parking is limited.

There is also a Disabled Viewing area at the front of the crowd. Please speak to a Marshall for access.

Please note Horsefen Road will be closed from 4pm and only open for access by residents, residents visitors  and businesses.

MAIN VIEWING AREA

Ludham Staithe NR29 5QG – approx 600m from Car Park.

SECONDARY VIEWING AREA

Womack DYKE – beyond the main Staithe. Approx 1400m from Car Park.

The Dyke is only Accessible by Foot to end of Horsefen road and then along footpath (Road Closed to Traffic). PLEASE BRING A TORCH AND NOTE THE PATH IS UNEVEN IF YOU WISH TO VIEW FROM WOMACK DYKE.

Refreshments

A Hog Roast and Bar will be available on Womack Staithe.

Entertainment

Entertainment provided by local Bands will start at 5pm.

Watching from your boat

Womack Staithe is CLOSED for visiting boats from 10am. You can however moor at Womack Dyke, or on the Island, and there is a very limited space to drop your mud weight on Womack water. The Parade will need plenty of room so please consider this should you decide to drop your mud weight!!

The Route

The Parade will only be visible from Womack Dyke and Womack Water.

Please note the Parade IS NOT going to Potter Heigham this year.
